Bokeh is a collection of fine art books, and a vote of confidence in the talent that we are fortunate to share in the classrooms at LENS School of Visual Arts (Madrid). It is a horizontal project that publishes works by teachers and students, indistinctly and without hierarchies, because we believe that the true value of a work resides in the depth of the project.

We see photography books as a playing field in which editors, designers, and printers work as a team to boost the author’s vision. This is why the publishing process is geared towards teamwork, and a respectful approach to the work is the main criteria that guides the actions of all the agents involved.

The collection is not limited to any particular style of photography, but to a certain way of doing things that can be applied to any trend – as long as the projects are coherent, with a fresh outlook and an unwavering commitment to the quality of well-executed work.

Bokeh is a non-profit collection, and income from book sales will be invested in producing subsequent publications in the series. The team at LENS School of Visual Arts would like to thank everybody who participates in this project in one way or another. We are pleased to be sharing this exciting and worthwhile adventure with such fellow travellers as yourselves.
