Book that collects photographs selected from photo-essays made by the author when he traveled all around the world immersed in the fiction of being a professional photographer. The typography and layout of the publication, and even the single black ink printing, are a clear homage (not without humor) to the mythical French collection -anthologies of the greatest authors of the history that contributed to the visual education of several generations of photographers. The author gets without permission and through the front door in world history of photography.

Gómez worked for 8 years in Castro Prieto’s laboratory, printing works by some of Spain’s most prestigious photographers (Masats, García Alix, García Rodero and Madoz, among others). He has received awards by CajaMadrid in 1999 and INJUVE in 2001, and was named a Revelación photographer by PHotoEspaña 2002. Gómez also received a grant from Kafka Society (Prague, 2003). He is a regular contributor to El País Semanal, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Matador, El Semanal, Calle20. His work has been exhibited in Sala Amadis y AVA Gallery (Madrid), Esther Montoriol Gallery (Barcelona), Festival Fotofo (Bratislava),  and the Palacio de Sástago (Zaragoza EXPO, 2008). The artist’s photography and interpretive designs have been commissioned for Instituto Cervantes, Matadero de Madrid, and the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, among other institutions. He is a member of AgeFotostock and PhotoGalería, and some of his works belong to private collections.

Gómez’s independent projects take interest in documentary research, fiction with the appearance of reality, and creating parallel words through dreams.
