THE BOOK

The book collects those common places that were marked by the death in different attacks by terrorist group ETA since the sixties to the present.

THE ARTIST

Nave studied photography at the School of Arts and Professions in Valencia. He has received numerous awards and has been named a finalist for many others (the 2004 Fujifilm Euro Press Photo Awards, FotoNoviembre, Purificación García, among others). He has received grants from the National School of Photography in Arles (France), the College of Spain in Paris, Fundación Marcelino Botín, and Casa de Velázquez. His work has been exhibited at fairs such as ARCO, Maco, Rencontres d’Arles, Paris Photo, Dfoto (San Sebastian), and Photo London, as well as at the Instituto Cervantes in Paris, and the Conde Duque Cultural Center in Madrid. Nave is represented by Galería Estiarte, and his works are found in collections belonging to the Spanish Ministry of Culture, the Cartier-Bresson Family, the Spanish Congress of Deputies, the Ordoñéz-Falcón Foundation, Banco Sabadell, and in the City Halls of Madrid, Tenerife, Alcobendas, Valencia, and in private collections.

Nave’s independent projects are concerned with places where significant events occurred, and the possibility that these spaces have retained memories of the events taking place within them.
